...behaves like a crayon, in my experience.This is one of my favourite colours from the range, laying down a lovely deep orange shade.~ KOH-I-NOOR~ FINE WAX PASTEL AQUARELL~ 8280 COLOURED PENCIL~ BOX OF 4 ~ ALL THE SAME COLOURCOLOUR ~ PERSIAN ORANGE/126A quality cardboard boxed set of 4 x chunky ‘KOH-I-NOOR WAX AQUARELL’ coloured pencils ‘8280’, measuring around 13 cm x 4.75 cm x 1.25 cm overall.Each comfortable-to-hold pencil measures around 12.5 cm in length & is about 1 cm wide and comes ready to use.Each silver coloured, rounded barrel is embossed in black lettering:‘KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH ~ WAX AQUARELL~ PAINTBRUSH EMBLEM ~ 8280’…along with barcode details & the shade number, in this case ~ '126'.The rounded end is colour dipped the same as the core for easy identification.The soft core is like a crayon in use and it is easy to cover larger areas without much effort, or for, e.g. coin rubbing, when a more forgiving ‘point’ is required.Little bits that break away can be used to create different effects, as can adding water.Useful demonstration videos are online for inspiration.These sharpen up well with the largest hole on my pencil sharpener achieving a reasonable ‘point’, if required, but they do wear down quite quickly, so it is very useful to have a pack of four.Some are also available singly, e.g. BORDEAUX RED, offering the chance to try out before investing too much.This brand often pops up on the ‘Amazon Add-On Programme’ and is worth looking out for, IMO.ooOoo‘Wax Aquarell coloured pencils 8280.
