I remember the days when you couldn't find a blue collar working man without a pencil clipped to his shirt pocket. Who would have thought this little item would be so hard to find?! After 5 separate stops to 5 separate stores, not limited to but including an office supply store, who would think this item would be such a mystery to so many Millennials? Not only did they not know what the item was, even with a picture, but not a single store had even one in stock. Amazon to the rescue! I bought the pack of 100 in case of extinction. In the zombie apocolypse, I'll be the go-to source for pencil clips!The most salient fact about these clips is that they’re cheap—in just about every respect. The dimensions of each piece can vary widely and many of them have edges so sharp that it’ll strip the paint off a pencil or peel cute little curlicues of plastic off a pen. Basically, quality was job 14 or 15 for these guys.That said, most of the individual deficiencies are nothing a few minutes with a pair of pliers and a rat-tail file can’t fix. And, as I said earlier, they’re cheap. So, if you own a few tools and don’t mind a little DIY, these can be an inexpensive way to go. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options. Your call.I carry a standard pencil all the time, without a clip it can get lost, fallout, or get cockeyed in your pocket. Don't know why but I remembered my Dad having clips on his pencils. I was truly afraid that they had gone the way of the Dodo bird. When I found these and got them over here, I tried them on all the different wood graphite pencils I have, They fit all of them, smooth round, octagonal, even the eastern European hexagon. I am glad I got 100, the clips and the pencil get stolen if I don't put it back in my pocket.Great hard to find in store item. Would have been 5 stars but it only comes in the 100 pack. Almost bought another company's 10-pack but cost per item was too high. 25- and/or 50-pack at slightly higher per item would probably increase sales while less expensive for consumers to buy from this manufacturer.Pencil clips are hard to find, so we ordered a lot and they are working out very well. We use them in our workbooks, and they don’t seem to get lost as easy. Highly recommendedput clips on pencil so they would not fall out of my pocketIt scratches the pencils. May be I'm not so skillful to put it.A good buy for an increasingly difficult item to find. For the life of me I cannot understand why tradesmen don't all use them-but they don't. I always have a pencil handy and when the clip breaks off as they always do I have plenty to replace it. A good deal.
